This project began with the exterior of the home, where we refreshed the siding with a deep forest green finish and added new black trim for a refined contrast.

Once the exterior was complete, our designer worked closely with the homeowners to develop their backyard vision, presenting several design proposals and helping bring their ideas together into one cohesive plan.

Construction then began with a 7-foot retaining wall, incorporating a hydrostatic pressure relief system for proper drainage. From there, we built the wrap around deck and stairs with timber tech materials, followed by the metal railings throughout the decking. 

The next features were a custom underground fire pit, formed and poured on site and finished with silver gray quartzite flagstone. Lastly, the installation of a new fence on the north east side of the backyard. Each element was thoughtfully integrated to maintain the open-concept feel the homeowners envisioned, creating a cohesive space for relaxing, gathering, and entertaining.

The finished backyard provides the homeowners with a place to slow down and enjoy their home in every season and at every hour of the day. From peaceful mornings surrounded by the trees, to afternoons spent on the deck and evenings gathered around the fire pit.
