Aptos Residence

This project focused on giving the home a fresh, modern exterior while creating beautiful outdoor spaces throughout the property. We began by installing new insulation and a combination of traditional siding and Lunawood siding throughout the home. The Lunawood siding was incorporated in select areas to add warmth, texture, and visual interest, while the traditional siding provided a clean and cohesive finish across the remaining exterior, followed by a new exterior paint color in a soft gray. The change from the original cream and beige tones gave the home a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

Four new decks were added throughout the residence, creating additional spaces for the homeowners to enjoy the outdoors. The decks were constructed with durable Trex decking, complemented by natural redwood handrails for a warm contrast and finished look.

At the center of the home, we transformed the atrium by incorporating small planters and carefully waterproofing the surrounding wood to protect it from moisture caused by watering. The Trex decking provided a durable, low-maintenance surface while keeping the atrium cohesive with the new decks throughout the property.

The completed project brought together updated materials, modern finishes, giving the home a refreshed appearance while making the property more enjoyable and functional for the homeowner.
